Why don't some Christians care if they sound illiterate?

I have come across several questions asked in earnest by people with a pion for the Gospel. I don't understand why they take offense when I point out that if they want to spread the Good News, especially by the WRITTEN word, they shouldn't do it in such a fashion that they appear to be a dunce?
