What is the current status of the offshore drilling ban?

I don't know but I honestly hope it gets lifted. Although I am a liberal and did vote for Obama I think the ban is pretty stupid. I don't want to be five bucks for gas. And you're right, since gas prices are low it probably won't get attention again until they shoot back up.
