Is the National Society of High School Scholars "a scam?"?

I call the ociated Press who looked them up under Charities-nonprofit, they saw them listed, In the www.GuideStar.org they are listed and under www.LexisNexis.com they are listed, there is also a book called ociations Unlimited, look them up for yourself. They are legitimate as far as being a non-profit corporation. Family ties to the "Nobel family" aka, Nobel Prize-family, lets look it up/to be continued. You don't have to pay the $60, download the full fee waiver, via hardship and follow the instructions. Claus Nobel does however need to put his board of directors names on his letterhead. I am continuing to look for connected news papers and articles on the organization, you do the same, call them, talk to the writer of the article ask them to give you all the info you need to make up you and your parents mind about joining.
