I'm confused?!? Never been in a relationship, I don't know what to do?

Okay, well there is this guy. He's a dancer at the high school I wanted to go to, but I wasn't accepted. He takes lessons where I take lessons for musical theatre. He's been texting me and he keeps telling me I'm beautiful and he thinks I'm cute, and just to humour him I invited him ice skating with me and my best friend. He said okay, and since he's in high school and tomorrow is the midterms and high schools get a half day. He's going to be at my school the other half of the day. He texted me an hour ago saying 'i want to hold you.' I'm kind of scared, I've always been told I'm ugly and fat and I've never been in a relationship.
