Geo prizm nice car for firs car?

hi im looking at getting myfirst car and im 18 1/2 years old and i thinking abut a 1995 geo prizm, iv read good and bad reviews....acually mostly good saying that they are reliable and good on gas. now it is a 4-cylinder, on avergage what does a 4-cylinder cost to fill with gas? Are theygood cars for first car, im not lookng at anything fancy and new the ne i have in mind has new everything and looks plenty clean
