How is the american alligator holding up in its battle with the Burmese python in the everglades?

i wouldnt say that the alligators are battling the pythons. there are so many alligators in the everglades it would take much more than a few hundred pythons to do anything significant. the real problem is the pythons are not native to the area and dont have any natural predators. they are competing with the alligators for food and eating animals that only exist in the everglades destroying the eco system.

I was looking up crocodilians in the Fl keys. Some websites say that alligators live in the keys only to Big Pine while others have reported alligators all the way down to Key West. Do any of you know for sure what different type of crocodilians actually live or have definitively been reported on Key West?

How to convert .mdx to .3ds?

I am currently using blender and I can't afford 3d Studio Max currently. I need to open a model in blender that is a .mdx file format. I was wondering if there is a a program out there for download (freeware or free trial) that does that. It doesn't have to be .3ds, it can be any of the Blender importing files which are: .3ds .ac .dxf .dwg .dae .off .x .lwo .mot .md2 .ms3d .txt .c3d .bvh .flt .slp .raw .ply .edl .obj .x3d .wrl. I am a noob to blender, so I don't know if there is a way to do it otherwise. Thanks so much for your help!
